Illustrator Dave McCoy lends a keen eye, playful wit, and a sure hand with a light touch to
creating caricatures that captivate. An astute observer who skillfully coaxes the essence from his subjects’
personalities, he has mastered the delicate art of making it fun without making fun of them. Dave is equally
comfortable working in his studio from supplied photographs or drawing quick studies in person – making him the
ideal artist for corporate or customer functions.
Dave’s nimble pen has also brought to life legions of other interesting
characters, including memorable mascots and humorous product images. His images for toys, books and games are
charged with spot-on "kid spirit." He
is known and respected for professional delivery and fast turnaround on
all projects.

He taught comic book art and layout for five years at the Joe Kubert
School in Dover, NJ, and currently teaches illustration and graphic
design at Gibbs College in Livingston, NJ.
